    Default Aldi nappies - Mamia?

    Hi All,

After reading many posts on here from people saying how good Aldi nappies are, I have just been to Aldi for the first time ever to buy some.

What a weird place - I felt like I was in a parallel universe full of products that kind of looked like products I knew but were all strange and unfamiliar brands. It was a little freaky!

I did come out with a packet of nappies, but I just wanted to check that they were the right ones as I don't remember the brand being mentioned on here. They are "Mamia". Are these the right ones? I haven't tried them yet...

    TIA

Just an FYI, the Coles brand nappies I have found to be equally as good as the Aldi ones, but cheaper!
I used to make a special trip to Aldi just for their cheaper nappies, but we've been using the Coles ones for DS for the last year and they're great No more extra trips just for one item .

I also love the Woolworths 'Home Brand' nappies, not the select... the REALLY cheap looking ones

I worked out that the Aldi ones were cheaper ( junior) do you use Coles brand or the Coles "comfy bots" ?

    Thanks all for your input

I've just done some quick calculations and thought I'd share. The Aldi nappies I just bought are 60 in a pack for $11.49, which works out to just over 19 cents a nappy. Compare this to the Babyloves I bought last week (don't like them at all, they don't seem to fit properly and gape at the top) for $27 for a pack of 48 - this works out to just over 56 cents a nappy. Big difference!

Yet to see how they go though - I've just put the first one on DD.

I was previously buying Huggies and was very happy with these (also happy to pay the extra for Australian made) but was scared off them by the thread on here about the dodgy quality imported ones!

I've recently started using these on DD and have not had any problems. They seem great. Previously I was using Huggies and I haven't noticed a huge difference apart from the price!
