Default Must haves for baby's first few weeks

So I had my last baby over 6 years ago so I'm a bit rusty on what are considered must haves for the first few weeks.

    So far I have

    0000 wondersuits and singlets
    000 wondersuits and singlets
    Hats
    Socks
    Bunny rugs
    Bassinet sheets and blankets
    Nappy bag
    Pram
    Car seat
    Bassinet
    Rocker

    Nappies
    Wipes
    Breast pads
    Maternity pads

    Have I forgotten anything ?

I found the baby mittens/gloves useful so DS didn't scratch his face too much.

    Towels/burp clothes.

I think your list is pretty good. I can't think of much else except I needed smaller clothes for DS because he was tiny.

I'd add a sling and a swaddle (we used a woombie which DS loves)

Lanolin! I would not have survived my first week without it. Have used on sore nipples and any rash.
    Wonder cream!

Sent from my LG-P500 using BubHub

Nappy rash cream, muslin wraps, spew rags (I use cloth Nappies for this, works a treat) portable change mat, mattress protecter, hooded towels... That's all I can think of right now. Swaddles are also good as they can still move their arms around a bit!!

Also one warm cardi/jumper and bibs. My DS spits up a lot and it's heaps easier changing a bib than a whole outfit.

This time round I'm getting a few swaddle wraps like miracle wrap, etc. Those muslin wraps just come undone.
