    Default Did you avoid certain foods while breastfeeding?

    and if so, did you find it made a difference?I just found this list onlinehttp://www.ourmidwife.com.au/article...tingcolic.htmlI have eaten a lot of foods on this list in the past 48 hours and last night my baby (5 weeks) screamed on and off for 4 hours last night with only little 5 minute catnaps inbetween. It started at 6pm. I was wondering if it's my diet or is it the inevitable, unavoidable witching hour(s)?I'm going to try and avoid these foods, but having eaten some today, I wonder how long it takes to leave your system?

    Interesting that brewers yeast is included. I thought this was good for breastmilk?

    For me, raw cabbage, alcohol and legumes are the worst and not just in the first 6 weeks.
