    I havnt heard from knickers. I do my shopping online with Coles.

    I also might not be able to do my uni I can't afford the books and I can't find cheap 2nd hand one. It's bull. They uni guy I spoke to didn't help at all. Maybe he was just useless

    Textbooks are hideously expensive. What course are you doing? I don't have my textbooks yet. I don't always buy them, sometimes I can get by with just borrowing them from the library and photocopying the important bits.

    It's a course to get into the course I want to do. So it's not even what I wanna do yet. It's a child development or something. I'm doin it from home so I can't get to the uni library

    Do you know anyone else in your course? Maybe you could share textbooks - take turns week by week and read ahead where needed?

    Can you speak to the lecturer? Sometimes they can offer cheaper alternatives.
