    Default 1st Father's day

I'm hoping to get DH a very special 1st father's day present from DD (3 months). What have others given new Dads for their first Father's day? Thanks in advance!

I made a "My Daddy and Me" photobook for DH's first Fathers Day. DS1 was 3 months old and I had more than enough pics for a small book.

    Hi OP

Not terribly original but I did the whole photo frame , personalised key ring and coffee mug thing with a great pic of him and the kids .

As much as its not original he really loved it as hes so proud of the kids so he got to show them off everywhere with he's little knick knacks

We didn't have much money at the time, so I knew I couldn't buy DP a present (plus I was in hospital until fathers day, so I guess that was a nice pressie). But while in hospital I organised a BBQ lunch and got DP's dad and fam to come down and then when I got out of hopistal we all had a bulk fathers day with good food and good company. It was a nice surprise for him!

Every father's day I always make a paint handprint of our kids' hands and put them in a homemade card. He loves seeing how they've grown over the years.

I gave dh painted footprint canvas and also a chain with a dog tag on it - got DAD engraved on one side and then on the back ds' name and dob and he can get future children on there too.
