Ok, i may ahve a vague answer. MW things it is the hormones making my ligaments more lax, she says possibly concentrated on the one side due to my spine possibly being unstable. She is right I have a minor degree of scoliosis. I guess my SI joint subluxate to a larger degree than normal due to increased hormones. Maybe it pinches a nerve making it feel like it is in the femur. Who knows? She says it wont effect the baby...well in that case a week is not too long to wait.
Alright yr 36 weeks and one of yr legs is hurting, hip down? My daughter came at 34 weeks but the week leading up to her coming my right leg swelled up and it hurt. I'm pregnant with DS right now and I have told my OB about what happened to DD, cause no one at the time could explain what happened, and he tells me it meant she had engaged and was coming.
At the time I saw my midwife because I was worried and she said it was a lack of magnesium. Yr ligaments stretched at 20 weeks. What I'm trying to say is PACK YR BAG and get ready. Good luck.
Oooh haha! Ok, thank you! I am ready!
Goodness I had my pain from very early on in both pregnancies. I mean about 14-16ish weeks. Certainly was not an indication of early labour for me. However if it suddenly starts out of the blue later in pregnancy then it may be worth getting checked out for early labour.
