    Default Nipple thrush?????

I'm a little unsure my issue, so bear with me.

My ds has just had his first tooth break through. It has been out for about 2 weeks.

My left breast has started stinging a little whilst feeding. I can't tell if it is a graze from the tooth, or if I may have nipple thrush as I have never experienced it before.

My question - if you have nipple thrush, is it isolated most times to one breast? Does baby always have oral thrush as well?? My bub doesn't have oral thrush yet, so I am leaning more towards a graze on my nipple.

I had it quite bad when bub was young but recently got it back when she got her bottom teeth. I think she may have grazed it when she was a bit rough on there. How I know is that I can sort of 'feel' my nipple in between feeds, not sore or anything but gets my attention. Then when latching it REALLY hurts then settles down but back to an ache. It also looks quite pink. If you do have it, bub always has it too, you just may not be able to see it. When I use cream and don't treat bub, it comes back. So I get the canesten for me and daktarin for bub. It usually starts to subside within 2-3 days. It will be getting more painful if it's thrush. oh, and yes, I only get it one side.
