    Default Kindle account

Can you have more than one device sharing the same account and books?

Um answer is yes. My husband accessed my kindle account on his iPad app and has read the same book on his iPad while I read it on my kindle.
I'd love to tell you how but I'm guessing you just log in on the other devices with same email and password.
Sorry I'm not more helpful but I do know it works.

    Yes you can.
You have to link them both to the one Amazon account. This means 1 library to 2 devices but also means they are both linked to the same credit card.

Alternatively you can 'lend' your content to another device but only if the publisher has enabled this option.

This only allows the content to be lent to your friends device for a limited time (14days I think) and its a one off option. Once you've lent it once you can't lend it again.

I personally just swap Kindles every now and then....

Thanks :-) my sister and I have an iPad on the same iTunes account so I'm not worried about shaunf accounts. Will just give her my login details for amazon.

In that case just register her device to your account too.
