Default Leaking fluid - what do you notice?

Possibly tmi! I am 38+4 and have been wearing a liner for months because of poor pelvic floor control. I have low amnionic fluid and am starting to wonder if I might have a slow leak that I haven't noticed because I assumed that what was in the liner was urine. The last few days the liner has seemed quite "full" but I haven't been conscious of letting go of much urine. I sleep naked and haven't noticed anything while sleeping. For those with experience of a slow leak, does this sound like one?

I'm 33 weeks, and have to wear a panty liner 24/7
I was trying to let myself "breathe" at night so was going without. But it just keeps coming. It's especially bad for me personally in the morning after laying down.

    Very frustrating.

I don't know how you'd know if it was your waters or not because mine have never ruptured without help. Just thought I'd reassure you that you're not alone!
(mine isn't pee, but is a clear, occasionally milky, discharge)

    Hi Country Girl.

It's hard to say really. it could be a slow leak or at 38+4 could also be urine as the baby's head comes into your pelvis. Do you have to change the liner often? If in doubt, give the hosp a ring & they will probably ask you to go in for a check.

Apparently amniotic fluid smells a lot like semen?

Yes. Mine was very much like semen. Very distinct.
