Default Baby heart rate low, 6 weeks in 2 days, avg heart beat is only 82 bmp - need support

I just went to my first ultrasound that could visible see something . It was exciting and nerve racking at the same time worrying if all is well and happy to see what is happening inside milestone which explains all your symptoms happening in your tummy.
I was thankful that they did find a heart beat and I am grateful for this however I am concerned as the ultrasound tech said my average heart beat for the baby was 82beats per minute and it is suppose to be between 90-190 bpm and I have heard there are some lucky cases and they have healthy beautiful babies and there are many who have miscarriages shortly after.
Please I need everyones support right now, is there any people who have gone through similar or know of anyone who has had this happen to them. I'm trying to be extremely positive and hope over the next week the heart rate starts to go up but I feel really weighted with this knowledge.

    Thanks again for reading.

oh i would think that is totally NORMAL!!!

You are 5+5 is that right?? Babies HB only starts at APPROX 5+3 and they normally don't do a scan before 6wks because its so varied.

HB will start low and increase over time.

It will sound terrible but I can't quite remember what the HB was on this lil guy I am baking -I had a scan @ 6+4 and it was all good and another scan @ 12+4 - one of those was 139bmp but I think it may have been the second one. (once I post I will go and see if I can find it?)

I had a missed miscarriage before this pregnancy and had a scan at 6ish wks - there was only a flicker but not a HB strong enough to even register. I really htink 82bpm for that early on is positive outcome.

I think the tech sometimes say stuff without thinking about how anxious all us new mums to be are - its literally life and death and we hang on every single word they say - even if its a just a passing stat the throw aroudn flippiantly.

Have they suggested another follow scan or has dr contacted you with any concerns??

Sending you babydust for a sticky one but I think your all good

At about 7 weeks my daughters heartbeat was 86 bpm. She's now 3 months old and napping in my arms! 6 weeks is still early, but if you're worried I'd see if you can go for a repeat ultrasound in a week or so! Good luck! xx

thank you all for really your time and support to write back to me. I appreciate everyone's responses. I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant with the 82 bpm. Hearing that you (RandR) had similar to mine makes me more hopeful thank you again everyone.

as hard as it is, stay positive!!! it will take a few weeks for all bubs to get their HB up and as soon as the go up they come back down again a bit anyway.

I had a dating scan with my second pregnancy (first was a missed miscarriage no hb) at 5+6 and we had a heartbeat of 80. I'm currently trying to get my 5 week old dd to sleep. their hearts have just started beating, the sonographer told me a hb of 80 for that gestation is perfect!
