    Default What should I do?

    OK So I am not sure if I am posting in the right area but here goes;

    I am 25 weeks pregnant with no 2.
    I am taking 12 months off and then want to find something part time. Maybe 2-3 days a week? I would love to "AIM" to earn around $500 a week clear.
    Working is important to me; I WANT to work and also it means we will pay off our mortgage quicker which is great
    So I am unsure what line of work to do? Currently I work in an office in a customer service based role. My background is CS Management/Team Leading. They will not offer me part time upon my return and travel here is about 40 mins so I would prefer something closer to home- Plus, not a very family friendly business.
    So here is what I am thinking, I just completed a basic bookkeeping course so I can do the books and BAS for DP's small business. Do I want to;
    Do BK from home?
    Find a small local business to do BK/admin?

    I am also interested in real estate very much- do I want to do my agents reps license and find a PT local job?

    I also LOVE my spray tans and was interested in buying machine off ebay so I can do my own and maybe starting up a from home business doing this- and maybe waxing as well as I love that kind of this.

    So, which options sounds the most promising/financially rewarding? Or should I do a combination of two? I just dont want to throw my energy into something that wont be financially rewarding and that will cost me more to do that I can bring in?

    TIA xx

    Default Hi there

    Hey hopeful mumma!

    I think they should offer you part time upon your return but if they don't then it seems like not a so friendly happy place.

    Maybe you could look through the Wide World Web and play around with key words for working from home doing accounts? When I had my child I was put out of work and then started looking on line. I came across Virtual Receptionists, virtual bookeepers ect....

    You mentioned Real Estate too, so it sounds like your very flexible in what your looking to achieve which is great!

    At the end of the day you have to do what resonates with you and what you Love. Cudos if you could do the two and have the 2 bubs, thats great. I only have one 5 year old and find this a handful!

    So good luck on your venture and remember to look afteryourself first and go with your feelings.

    Have a great evening... Jess

    Real Estate is near impossible to do part time , sales or property management anyway, unless you get a receptionist or personal assistant job part time but that would usually not be in school hours

    I would look into part time book keeping. I see ads on gumtree all the time from small business, that only want some one 1-2 days a week or to work from home.
