Default What OCD things do you do that are really annoying?

I shut doors to heated rooms. Doesn't sound too annoying? I shut the door in people's (including small children's) faces if they're not quick enough to enter/leave. I REALLY wish I could stop, but I just think of all that warm air blowing away.

Please share your annoying OCD habbits with me . . .

I have to have an even number of pegs hanging out the washing. If DP does the washing and I find odd pegs, I have to redo it lol

I check every house light and stove before I leave, then have to recheck as I believe I might have missed something. Sometimes it takes a third check before I fully believe that they are off. I hate my OCD!

Our bed must be made in a very specific way. The thermal blanket and too sheet must be folded over the top edge of the quilt, then the thermal blanket doubled under, then the sheet kind of rolled under so you can't see any seams.
Last time I was in hospital I had to ask for an extra sheet so I could make it that way!

All sheets and quilt covers must match and be made every morning. And all clothes hung in the wardrobe must all face the same way and be colour coded

I get really weird about food and it being off, or at least no good to eat. 24 hours in the fridge and it's gone, I won't eat it, however delicious.

I like the toilet paper to go over not under and it will correct it on the hook if DH puts it on wrong.

I hang washing in a certain order. Towels first, always on the outer layers. Then Dh and I's stuff in the middle, then nickers and the kids stuff on the inside, hung in that order.

I do both of these, am definitely worst with the food.

I also press the lock button on my car key about 10 times as I am walking away from my car, just in case I didn't actually do it the first time (or first 9 times)

I wash the dishes under the running tap :/ I know it's terrible.. And I have a system for hanging out my washing and crack it if mil or dp hang out my washing coz they do it wrong! Mil knows my laundry is off limits when she comes over now and dp is lazy so I don't have to worry any more.
