I never used to be a big water drinker but since having DD 18 months ago I drink about 2-4L a day, I think because I'm still BF'ing .. I wonder what I'll be like once she stops.

I drink a bit of water on the way to work, prob close to 1 litre, then a couple of glasses of water at home.

I drink 2-3 cups of Rooibos tea at work which counts because no caffeine So not dehydrating.

I did read that the 2 L is no longer the recommendation. I try not to force water down if I end up feeling bloated and yuck. I try to stick to commonsense rather than a recommended number of mls.

I have a filter from Kmart. I'm not sure how many litres it holds.

I empty it about twice a day, I'm so thirsty at the moment. Plus a drink of water does wonders for my nausea

I drink 2 litrea a day, a kidney stone 8 yrs ago is my incentive, started from a kidney infection from not hydrating enough!

My gp has said though, once you pee is clear, you are hydrated enough

There is no way I could drink 2L of water a day - I've tried and peeing everywhere 10 minutes was annoying.
I figure my body just doesn't need that much water.

Not sure, i keep a glass of water in the kitchen and regularly go have drinks from it and re-fill it but i don't pay attention to how much i actually drink. I also have 1-2 cups of tea.

I drink loads and loads of water - maybe 4 or 5 litres. But I drink exercise a lot and drink coffee so you need to drink extra water for that.

LOL I thought this was going to refer to alcohol and be one of those threads that turns nasty!
