    Default About to lose

My sh!t with DS. I didn't think he needed a nap today. At 2 I turned on ABCkids so he could have some quiet time. At 2.45 he fell asleep. At 3.30 he woke up crying and has. not. stopped. FFS. Shut up.

He's 2.5, and just starting to drop the nap. He slept yesterday and the day before but only for an hour each time so the 45 minutes should have been fine. Clearly not I've tried every trick I have and nothing's working. I am now just ignoring him till DP comes to my rescue abd gives him dinner and puts him to bed early.

Just overtired I'm pretty sure DE. No temp, isn't sore anywhere. Everything is just devestating, including all his favourite toys, food and tv shows.

    have you tried a bath?
or give him a pillow and tell him if he's angry to punch the pillow? lol
cuddles? ask him to get a book for you to read to him?
or leave him in his room and tell him that he needs to calm himself down and when he's feeling happy he can come out...

Tried a bath, I needed a shower anyway and he usually loves that, we have a shower over the bath so i pop the plug in and he plays in the water. He just stood naked at the edge of the bath and screamed while I had the least relaxing shower in history.

Typical, he is happy now and DP will be home in 5 mins after my s.o.s message.
