    Default Very slow HCG rise

I went to the hospital 6 days ago because I was having some spotting. They told me it was perfectly normal, gave me an internal ultrasound {saw the sac, but only 4 weeks along so there was nothing to really see}, took blood and sent me home.
Confirmed in uterus, not an ectopic and not miscarrying at that point.

    HCG level was 507.

On Monday I had more blood taken, to make sure the levels were rising normally.

The doctor told me this morning that my levels had only gone up to 740 points in 4 days.

Had my blood taken *again* this afternoon, and have another appointment tomorrow to see if they've risen at all.

    I'm not having any cramping or pain, but I have random brown and pink streaked CM {which they told me is so common it should be expected}
I don't feel pregnant, but it's early days yet, and I've got early pregnancy symptoms like back ache, sore breasts, nausea.

If you had these same things going on, did it end in a miscarriage or a baby?

Don't spare bad news, either, I want to hear both sides of it.
I've been reading up online in medical journals and such, and it's about a 50/50 with good/bad results.

    Bump lovely

I've never had my levels tested, but I had spotting which turned into bleeding and cramping at 11+4 weeks in my last pregnancy which ended up a missed miscarriage, and a horror movie gush of blood at 12+5 weeks in this pregnancy that ended up as nothing. So I guess for me it's been 50/50 and how it starts isn't an indication of anything.

I had slow rising hcg levels with my 3rd and 4th pregnancies. 3rd resulted in my dd and 4th resulted in mc. Your levels are still increasing so there could still be hope. Try not to stress too much though x

HCG beta land is an awful place to be. I've read lots of stories of women who had slow rising HCG or low HCG and went on to have healthy pregnancies.

With my 2nd miscarriage, mine was slow to rise then eventually started to drop at the end of the 5th week. My clinic nurse said with slow rising beta, it usually can go either way.

If you saw the sac on an ultrasound though, thats a great sign so fingers crossed you'll get a big rise tomorrow It can be an awful time, waiting for results.

I had slow rising with this pregnancy, my first was 36, 5 days later it was only 120ish.. So still rising, just slowly. I had an early scan (due to an ectopic pregnancy in November) and saw a fetal pole and sac at 5+6 and then a heart beat a week later. Turns out my dates were out by about 7 days.

I'm now 27+5!! I had no bleeding, but I do remember how agonizing those weeks til I seen a heart beat were!

    Fingers crossed for you!
