    Default Fertility specialist in Perth

    Thanks for the thoughts...
Just had my first appointment at FertWA on Wednesday with Dr Love - we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the appointment was, very clear, everyone friendly and lovely. Will see how things go from here, but very happy so far, dr love seems really lovely!

I have seen Lincoln Brett at Hollywood Fertility. I really liked him. It was for a egg donor cycle, and I thought the clinic was great.
I have heard good things also about Concept. Not so good things about Pivet

Hi, i understand that it has been a couple of years since you had to deal with FN. But i would love any advice that u have for leaving fertility north. i am having the worst experience with them. How do u move to another clinic? is it very time consuming?

Hi @Bronagh. I've changed from fert north to Hollywood previously (not due to service, I wanted to do a pgd cycle which wasn't available at the clinic at the time). The move was very easy and straightforward. FN transferred all my files and info to the new clinic within a day of asking. My frozen embryos at Fert North were couriered to my new clinic after all authorisations had been signed. I did have to do all the initial bloods, counselling etc with the new clinic even though my results were still current from my old clinic.
I now have 2 beautiful boys (1 x fresh cycle and 1 x FET) with the assistance from my new clinic. I wish you all the best with your decision!

I also changed from Fert North but to Fertility Specialists of WA. I had a terrible experience with F North... It was awful! This prompted us to change. I look back now and feel silly for hanging around.

The logistics of it wasn't difficult, the clinics will guide you as to what you need to do. We incurred the cost of the couriers that transferred our embryos to the new clinic. When the new embryologist inspected the embryos their comment to us was they wouldn't have even been allowed to freeze them as they were of very poor quality.

We have a beautiful boy and another bub on the way. You are welcome to pm me for more info if you like.

    Good luck x

I just called FN and asked for a copy of all my reports, test results etc to be sent to me, which they did via email and I forwarded it all on to FSWA prior to my first appointment with them. We didn't have any embryos to transfer over but did have some sperm in storage and FSWA guided us as to how to get that sent to them. From memory there was a fee to get that stuff sent over but so worth it to not have to deal with them anymore. Good luck with the switch!

I have had a fantastic and successful experience with Dr Thompson and really didn't like my experience with Dr Sillender (I walked out of my second appointment in tears and changed specialists then and there,) plus his appointments were almost double the cost. Everyone is different I guess.

I highly recommend Dr Brett at Hollywood, he's amazing! Great sense of humor which for me was important when the whole process is so serious and always answered my questions no matter how stupid they were!
I have had amazing result with him also, DS as a result of IVF cycle #1 fresh transfer and am pregnant again now with #2 which was a result of IVF cycle #2 fresh transfer

im not surprised at all that there are so many ppl looking to leave FN. u really are just a number in FN. I attempted to leave and go to Concept but the waiting times for a first appointment are approx 1 1/2 months away. and every day is precious to me. I expected to be pregnant in august and every day is like a year to me. im so frustrated at the minute.
