    Yes, after 6 years of marriage. I wanted the same surname as DD on her birth certificate.

    I am known as Ms. I have never been addressed as Mr and Mrs/Ms John Doe. That would p!ss me off! Do they even do that these days?

    Yes I took his surname. Every time I'm refered to as 'Mrs ....' it reminds me that we're married and that we're our own little family and I'm very proud of that. My dh is pretty proud also and often refers to me as 'Mrs ....', it's very cute.

    argh, it also makes me cringe that some women see marriage and family as some kind of success, achievement, and that being referred to as MRs cements that for them. It's disturbing.

    Haha I did when I got pregnant I think it's nice to all have the same last name but I didn't for 3 years after we got married because I couldn't be bothered changing everything... DH was so excited!
