Yes I did, didn't even think twice about it. My maiden name was very long and a bit of a PITA though, TBH I had always looked forward to changing it!

But even if that hadn't been the case I'm pretty sure I would have; I like that we all share the same surname (and he wouldn't have been comfortable changing his).

    This.

My oldest is nearly 7 and understands that I have a different surname and it doesn't bother her or me one bit.

I did change my name, we had our kids before getting married and had given them both DHs surname so I thought it would be nice to all have the same name. Plus my maiden name was slightly awkwar and I always had to spell it out. I'm not used to being a mrs though and many times have been sitting in a waiting room while someone calls out mrs xyz completely oblivious

I changed mine not for any particular reason I just though why not. My maiden name really wasn't that important to me it is afterall just a name. I don't particularly like DH name but as I said I didn't care that much and it was important to him so I did.

i think the purpose of the feminist movement was about choice - being able to choose whether to take your partner's name or not.
we had our son (dh last name) then got married a few years later. i preferred my maiden name but it was more important to me to have the same name as our child. now we have another baby and i like that we all have the same last name.
i say do it! it isn't 'anti-feminist' at all because you are the one deciding to take his name, no one is forcing you too
