Sandy - sorry to hear about your pregnancy. Your experience does sound similar to my ectopic. However I had the same experience with my next pregnancy as well (HCG - going down then back up, but not doubling every 48 hours like it should) and although my FS thought it was ectopic it turned out not to be. I assume your FS has done a TVUS scan to check it isn't in the uterus? I had a number of specialist scans to try and determine whether it was ectopic or interuterine, however unfortunately they couldn't tell (too early I think) and as they can be life threatening, my FS removed my tube anyway, just in case. The pathology results came back and it was in the uterus after all. My heart goes out to you, I am not sure if you have already lost one tube or not but I know how heartbreaking it is when you have to face the possibility of loosing your second tube and then having no chance of a natural miracle. I really do hope that it isn't ectopic. I really am sorry to hear you have to go through this. Look after yourself . I will pm you once I decide who to use for transporting my bloods to Chicargo.

sandy, sorry to hear you are going through that I hope they can figure it out soon. I've only ever had miscarriages from my uterus so can only imagine how hard that must be. Big hugs xx

B123 - I'm glad you got your protocol and found someone to listen! Did you have to go to the uk?

Lissylou good luck with your embryos. Hoping you don't lose many more and transfer goes well

    Hi to everyone else!

Afm I'm sick of waiting! Still 2 weeks till I get my biopsy results and hopefully my protocol so we can start. I'm really interested to see what the results of the testing will be and whether he will suggest ivf or natural preg...

today's update (sorry if some don't want to read my daily blah, but it's helpful to myself to write it and also maybe for others to compare how our embies are doing at new clinic with hopefully better cutlure media & with saizen/menopur which we've never used before).

    so they're looking for between 6 - 8 cells today, day 3.
    we have :
    2 x 6 cell
    1 x 7 cell
    1 x 8 cell
2 x 3 cell (one was a 3 cell that has not grown since yesterday, the other was the 1 cell from yesterday that has decided to have a growth spurt, these 2 we're told unlikely to continue)

so all in all feel relieved, but still nervous. next call tomorrow morning, and then hopefully no call sat morning just straight in for the transfer and they tell us when we get there what we have got.

at the same stage last cycle we had 5 x 5 cell/1 x 7 cell with uneven cell sizes/2 x 3 cell. we were told the 7 cell did not look good, the 3 cells would likely not make it, so our best shot was that some of the 5 cells would catch up and start growing. we were gutted. the next day (tomorrow) we only had 1 x 4 cell/1 x 8 cell/1 x 6 cell. the rest had stopped growing. that afternoon i raced down the coast to put the 2 best in.

so we have 4 tracking ahead of last time!

our last 3 cycles with ha-icsi were pretty much disasters compared to this. 1st we collected 8 eggs, 7 mature, 3 fert. 1 was left to transfer on day 5 but can't remember if it was a blast. so i guess that cycle wasn't a complete disaster. 2nd cycle we collected 14 eggs, 10 mature, 8 fert, only 2 made it to day 4 (transferred best 2 on day 4 as other had stopped growing). then 3rd (last) cycle 10 eggs collected, 6 mature, 2 fert. those 2 transferred on day 2 in panic scared they would not last to day 5.

previous to using ha-icsi i was with another clinic for 2 stims (& 3 iui's) in 2011. both cycles used natural ivf with pretty low stim drugs (150-200 gonal/puregon). 1st cycle we got 10 eggs with 5 fert, transferred 1 blast on day 5. 2nd cycle we got 14 eggs, 9 fert with 1 blast transferred on day 5 and 2 blasts frozen. can't even remember if i called them each day for results way back then, it's all a blur. we had a chem preg with the fresh blast.

now to try to keep busy until tomorrow morn! wish me luck!

good luck B123!! thanks for posting your regime. how high were your nk cells readings (uterine & blood)? you are on a higher dose of prednislone than me and i wonder why i am not on more

    Hi ladies.
I haven't been on in a while as I've been trying to keep my self busy during the wait!
EPU went well, we were only able to get 6 eggs and only 3 progressed to fertilize. 2 of the 3 made it to 8 and 6 cell and the other one made it to a hatching blast!! So we put back the hatching blast on Saturday and we are now patiently waiting for blood results on the 15th.
Dh and I were so excited that we had a hatching blasty as we have never ever been able to get one so good before! So here's hoping that things will work for us!
So for now I am dosed up on all FS' and Dr Ms medication and enjoying some quiet time at home alone!
Hope you are all well x

that's awesome cheals!! so happy for you that you got a hatching blast, not sure i've ever had that either. and only a few sleeps til you know!

have thought about asking fs about assisted hatching - anyone tried it?
i might just go with flow this cycle as 1st with new fs, but if we are back again for another cycle will look into it. i guess we all want to give our embies every possible chance!

Hi ladies- just a quick update had ultrasound today, looks to be 5 good sized follies on the left ovary and 1 on the right, u/s showed some fluid that needs to be checked on my endometrium which could mean a follicle has burst (most likely from the right ovary) - but won't find out until epu. Trigger tomorrow night 7pm for a 9am epu monday - 38hr trigger this cycle - why??? I have no idea
