Thanks Kiwi for your reply and info!!! So glad to see that you are feeling much better.

Congrats Erin your BFP. Really exciting!

i forgot to mention in my first post that I did cgh with my IVF cycles - I am such a fan of this kind of testing. The last cycle we did, we had 6 embies to be biopsied and the result of this was one that was suitable (one still pending). The others had various issues which would have given problems later on. Just imagine if we had transferred the other four (which on the face of it all looked like healthy grade 2 blastocysts) certainly would have resulted in heart-ache. I feel so fortunate that we have this kind of science available for us.

so I am back on the clex/Dex regime and will probably do intrallipids next week. Certainly feels a little different second time round but still exciting.

hope you all have a wonderful long weekend.

    xx

    Hi Ladies,

WOW I really think this is a LUCKY thread with all the great BFP's and of course with Dr. M's immune meds, ladies we are on a BFP roll.......

Miss Erin - Congratulations on your surprise BFP. Such wonderful exciting news.

Kiwi - Great that there has been no more cramping or bleeding. YAY!!

Festivalgirl - How are you going? Thanks for asking about the IVIg and driving for me. I'm going in on Sunday 7th for my FIRST infusion.

Romy - Wonderful to hear of your nice strong numbers and that you are already experiencing m/s, sounds like everything is going smoothly.

Crofy - Wishing you all the best for your biopsy results.

Hi to all the newbies so many more have joined us

AFM: I've started my meds for my FET in Cape Town. The daily Lucrin shot & prednislone have been fine but now I'm on the progynova (1st day today) I'm feeling rather off, a bit nauseous and thirsty and DH and I are having a date night tonight!! Hope I feel better later as we haven't been out on our own for over 6 months!! Having my first IVIg next Sunday 7th and fly out to Cape Town on 17th. Super excited but will be hard to leave my DS (3 1/2) for 5 days Hope it's all worth it!!!!

So many newbies, so welcome to you all

Thank you for your congrats everyone. You are such a nice supportive bunch of people

I'm pretty nervous at the moment as I had some bleeding yesterday morning and we're worried that it may all be over before it really begins. The bleeding has stopped now.

I'll be having BT tomorrow to check my levels and see if the bub is still progressing I guess.

If the worst happens then I'll try to take comfort in the fact that it wasn't viable and also that I have achieved my first ever pregnancy...so at least it is possible.

Sorry, a bit of a 'me' post again. I hope you are all doing well and having a lovely Easter

    to all.

    xx

    Hi hi everyone
im going to see my immunologist on the 3rd...
I have endometriosis, ASA and NK cells (CD56+).
I dont know if my immunologist know how to treat me. After reading Dr Alan Beer's book i think i know what im gona ask for... Steroids, intralipid and anti-TNF alfa drugs (humira). Also i have read that viagra lowers nk cells and thickes the endomertial lining...
any ideas on what i should ask for?

    Hope everybodis is doing well

Timetoshine -that's great that your appointment went well, and not long till all your precedures. how long did it take you to get an appointment with Dr M. I am waiting on my GP to get back to me so we can see her and talk to her about and get a referral. Maybe I should call Dr M's office and book and appointment.

Hi Erin congrats and how did you go with your BT, it's always scary with the bleeding.
Helemac - all the best withy your FET.

Romy - hope you are not feeling too sick.

What tests have you had so far?
Congrats on the BFP hope it sticks and all goes well.

I've had HCG, all the normal bloods they do, 2 laps, Clomid, 2 cycles IUI, Ultrasounds galore, MRI or CT scan - not sure the difference - to check fibroid not growing back, Cycle monitoring, Ovarian reserve test etc.

My reserve is low and they have warned me that even IVF may not work for me.

Would they usually test for NK cells as part of initial blood tests?

Are High killer cells related to autoimmune diseases?

I just want a diagnoses that isn't unexplained. I mean there is obviously something wrong. Sometimes I think they should just keep testing until they find what's wrong so they can fix it, others just do the GIFT so that I have a chance and then the next moment I want IVF or ICSI. About the only thing I do know is that I want my eggs checked for Downs and correct chromosome numbers to ensure no more wasted time

If it weren't for BubHub I really would be an absolute mess - rather than just a mess

Hi B123 - I just wanted to jump in and ask if you had considered getting an opinion from Dr Braverman in the US - he sees international patients. I know he is expensive but it may be worth getting the specialist advice that you need especially before you ask for humira and other hard core immune therapies.
Wishing you all the best. FG

Kalshy, it took 4 weeks to get my appt. i rang and made the appt and grabbed the first one they had but she said I was lucky, I think it's normally arou d 6 weeks. They send you a pile of paperwork to fill in and you need to send them results of any tests you've had done before the appt, so I just sent the referral with all that. Hope you get in soon, I would ring and book so you don't have to wait forever
