    Hi guys,

Do you mind if I join you guys. Btw Romy congrats on your BFP! Haven't heard from you on the ivf forum.

Guys I have some questions. I just had my 7th cycle 5th transfer & BFN. My NKC blood tests came out at elevated levels so I did the bondi cycle this last one. I also had one m/c early last year at 9.5wks and the fetus was tested came out all normal - all my levels and heartbeat were great at the beginning. I have severe endo as well. Deep down I really feel that I have all these immune issues coz of endo that's why I can't fall pregnant. We make perfect looking 5 day blasts and ever since the m.c it just doesn't stick. We've been trying for a baby since I was 30 and started IVF 2 years ago.

I am starting a FET cycle next month to see how we go. We have 5 frosties and I am too scared to waste them all if I do really have immune system issues, we've already spent $30k in 2years & don't want to waste doing cycle after cycle if I have immune issues which is causing implantation failures.

1- Girls before you went to see Dr M - do you have to get a referral from your GP or IVF specialist?
2- when you are doing an IVF cycle , can you also see Dr M and follow his treatment plan- like how does it work, do you tell your FS about Dr M's treatment plan and all the drugs.
    3. I m planning to make an appointment to see Dr M after my FET and also planning to do a cycle with PGD first to see if I get any normal embies.

how does it all work - can someone please explain, or Do I have to get treatment with Dr sacks.

Hi kalshy, welcome to the group! I'm pretty new here too, going to see dr m on Thursday for the first time as I have had 4 mc and just seem to be getting nowhere. I had to get a referral from my gp to see him. My fs has also recommended doing pgd but after talking to some ladies who have done pgd and lost those due to immune issues I decided to see dr m first. I have tested positive for Ana antibodies 1:1280 and my fs doesn't see a need to treat this at all so I am looking elsewhere. I haven't told her but if I go down the pgd road I will have to as dr m doesn't do the ivf part, he just manages your immune issues and your fs does the rest. hope that helps a bit and Good luck!

Hi kalshy, nice to see u on here and thank u 4 ur good wishes. Yes I haven't really been on the other forum as I'm away and to be honest have been cautious after receiving BFP as I have had numerous early losses/ chemicals.

I would recommend exploring seeing dr m. He does some tests that FS doesn't and has a diff perspective on Bondi protocol (bigger doses and other meds)
You will need A referral from GP. Up to you whether to tell your FS or not.
I believe the additional meds etc as a result of dr m are what has got me to this point. I've had PGD embryos, Bondi protocol for several cycles before ..

AFM - I'm just over 5 weeks now and went for. 3rd HCG today and its 6600! Next step scan etc when I get back to sydney next week. I've been very tired and feeling really sick on and off
Planning to enjoy cape turn sea air for the next week ..relax and enjoy and of course hope for the best !

Hi to everyone, would love to hear how everyone is doing, particularly kiwi !

Timetoshine - thanks for the info- all the best for your appointment on thur. let me know how you go. I am going to make and appointment to see my GP first to get a referral. I have booked in a FET for next month so we'll go ahead with that & will see Dr M hopefully I get an apppointment for next month or even May.

Romy - I am really happy for you. your levels are very good. I know what you mean by being cautious as I know all you've been through. Nice to chat to a familiar forum user. Was this your first cycle you did with Dr M and used intrapilids? oh and enjoy your SA holiday.

    Hi there,

I am new to the forums and wonder if this is the place for me. I dont know what high natural killer cells are. But you guys seem a minority just like me.

I had a fibroid removed which is neither normal or cancer. It is in the grey. Does this sound the type of issue that this doctor can deal with.

I have had various diagnoses from female cause to unexplained infertility and moving onto IVF next month. Tried adoption turned down as lcak of family support

Is there an option to have a test to see if this could be my problem? What are the symptoms that point to this diagnoses?

Sorry to be so vaigue I just want to try any option I can before having IVF, ICSI or GIFT (whatever the difference is)

    Thanks

HI everyone! Sorry I have been a little quiet. It's been a huge couple of weeks here and I have found this down regulated cycle much harder to handle. Tomorrow I have my EC so I have fingers and toes crossed I have some embies this time!!!! So glad I will have Easter to recover and hopefully I will have a nice embie transfered over the long weekend or if I actually get to 5 days then it might be Tuesday. I am due to go on Clexane from day of transfer...

    Hi Romy

Thanks for checking in on me! I'm doing really good thanks. Went back to work today and haven't had any more bleeding or cramping since last Weds/Thurs plus had another Intralipid last Sun and met Bella who was there too. We had a great catch up and chat. I had another scan today with Dr S my lil Chilli was moving all about and had little arms and legs it just put my mind at ease soooo much. Measured 9 weeks and 3 days so right in track. Still taking it one day at a time tho....

FG - how are you travelling ?? Sending you lots of sticky vibes!

Welcome to all the newbies & goodluck to all with upcoming transfers!

High NK cells are just one thing that could be a problem with conceiving and there are so many other things to test for too. My FS tested for it after a good embryo failed to implant. He also tested for many other things.

I have fibroids also but I do not believe the two things are related.

What tests have you had so far?
