    Default High Natural Killer Cells

Just keep calling and emailing. I think being so busy she forgets sometimes! She sometimes makes you feel as though its a massive inconvenience for her but she'll fit you in eventually!!

Thanks for the congrats. I still have trouble believing it! I'm so sorry to read all you've been through. It's just heartbreaking. The anencephaly shock at the 12 weeks scan must have been just awful, I'm sorry. I truly hope dr m gives you success.

Have been reading through all your posts - you guys are great at supporting each other
We have had recurrent m/c and just looking into possibilities while waiting for tests to come back. But as far as I know they aren't testing for immune problems. You all would know how it seems to consume you until you find an answer.
Just wondering if there are any other indicative signs of high NKC other than blood tests and biopsy? Also - are you able to fall pregnant naturally if you have high NKC and lose it further along due to this or does the baby not implant to begin with due to the high NKC?

Great to hear some of you have had good news

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

I had problems with this and 4 m.c'd because of it. Your body sees the embryo as a virus and kills it... Apparently your very healthy and live to a ripe old age with high nk cells too
I had to have steroids to neutralize my uterus so it wasn't hostile.
    I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant...
I found if you wee not pushy with ivf, reproductive specialists you didn't get offered these test.. I had to have 4 mc before it was offered as mc are quite common...
    Go figure

    Hi Kiwi,
I am really disappointed to miss you and Bella this infusion time around but at this stage I am expecting my IVIG the week after you both have yours - all depends on my period of course! I have started my prednisone - been on it for 8 days. Please give one another a big hug from me. Looking forward to meeting everyone in person someday very soon. FG

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA for so long. Most of you are aware that my AF went missing for 6 months and I was on a long journey of discovering why!! Finally to be diagnosed with stage 1 Ashermans Syndrome due to an adhesion in my cervix blocking the outflow tract. I am so happy to announce that my AF has finally returned in full flow!!! It was so wonderful to see AF back and I feel like my body has had a good cleaning out due to pooled blood in the cervix for so long. I'm now on the pill and I have commenced my immune treatment with the first shot of Humira last night.

Great to see this thread is still thriving and welcome to all the newbies!

April - I'm so sorry to read of your BFN. Have you had any thoughts to try again? Wishing you the very best in whatever path you decide.

Festivalgirl - Great that you have started the immune meds for another attempt. Had Dr. M changed the protocol or your FS? Fingers crossed this is the one!

Scruffy - Wonderful that you will be trying IVIG this time around. It's that bit more aggressive then intripilids and perhaps exactly what your body needs. Wishing you well.

Kiwi - WOW that is amazing that your CD57 levels have responded so well with the dexamethason. My understanding is that Dr. S and Dr. M have different ways of testing for CD57 but if Dr. M said that your results was considered low then that is wonderful!! All the best for your transfer.

Earthpower - How are you? Any news on what you and your DH have decided? Thinking of you.

Crofty - All the very best for your biopsy.

Bella - It's very reasurring to hear Dr. M is watching your levels so closely. Just out of interest how often to you need to see him and have blood tests? Good luck with your intripilid.

Jones - Your welcome! I'm so pleased that this thread is reaching out to give more awareness on Reproductive Immunology issues and as a result Dr. M is extremely busy!!!

Romy - I'm an ex Dr. S patient and the Bondi protocol didn't work for me either. Some of us require the more aggressive drugs so hopefully Dr. M's support will be sufficient and just the ingredient for a sticky!

MissErin - Yes it is very overwealming all the meds you have to take. The worst side effects I've ever suffered are headaches, and the prednisolone gives me stomach pain sometimes but after a while all the side effects subside. Wishing you all the best with your treatment.

Hi to all the other lovely ladies

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

Hi girls -- finally got my BFP and my FS wanted me to do/ have intralipid because of high-ish NK cells. However I'm allergic to peanuts so I'm not allowed. Am still taking 10mg/day prednisone. Should I be worried??

    Hi ladies,

Helen - welcome back thats awesome news about AF finally arriving and I am sooo happy you can start back on this journey! Im praying that Humira is the answer for you!
FG - Sorry you cant be with us on the 2nd it would have been great to have all 3 of us doing the Intralipids together!
Crofty - Yip this wll be my first go on Dr Ms treatment plan, I have tried 1 fresh and 2 frozen on the Bondi Protocol with 2 Chems and 1 BFN so with this fresh cycle we are going with Dr M instructions of dexamethason, Intralipids, 400mg pessaries and 40mg of clexane plus I will take an antibiotic before my EC to keep any infections at bay. Dr M had me trial the dexamethason prior to my biopsy to see if it suppressed my NK cells and it was amazing the affect it had my NK CD57 lowered dramatically however I think my CD56 was still high but he thinks the intralipids will do the trick with that...
Scruffy - Good luck this wkd with your IVIG!
Blue Bunny - Welcome, sorry I dont think there is any other way of testing apart from the bloods and the biopsy...
Betty W - welcome, and congrats on your BFP. Sorry I cant answer your query...Good luck

AFM - started the gonal on Tuesday this week so now Im jabbing 10ml of Lucrin and 225ml of Gonal F....Plus all my vitamins. Been gyming it 3-4 days a week to keep the kilos at bay from all these steroids and drugs... Im feeling really good, really positive too. I have my first scan to check on my follies next Weds so hoping for a good number. Still worrying about the PGD but we'll see what happens with that..

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

    Hi Ladies.
I have been reading through all your post and didn't realize how many people are patients of dr m. I have recently seen dr m and had my blood test done. They came back ok, with only one test showing a possible reason for my implantation failures. So with that I am now waiting to have a biopsy done to see if anything can be found.. this is so overwhelming.
I'm anxious to start another cycle as my dh works away a lot.. Dr m thinks that I should be ok to start a fresh cycle after my biopsy, but as I was over whelmed I didn't get a chance to ask him how long after the biopsy I have to wait. Does anyone know this or have some info that can help me? Do you need time to "heal"?
It's Friday night and i should be out enjoying my self, but all I can do is think about this biopsy!

Hope you are all well and things are going great for you all x
