    Default High Natural Killer Cells

Hi ladies, just popping in so I get regular updates and learn what I can about your protocols - just quickly, I have an appt with the infamous Dr M on 20 dec at his Miranda office after copious suggestions from some ladies on BH (including dear Nat and Bella 😉) just reading up to see what processes and costs I may be up for, especially when I don't have health insurance. Good luck to those undergoing treatments at the moment and in the coming weeks

    Xo Crofty

    Hi All,
Welcome Zakmick, Eleash & crofty hopefully you will become one of Dr M's miracles along with the rest of us!

i got Dr Beers book last week & silly started reading it on the train & got very emotional reading the stories first up, can't believe we all have to go through that. These specialist should really be telling us what is what and all our options & choices from the start. Granted it may not affect everyone but they should educate us why are we spending all this time, money & emotional turmoil to only have to do our own research int why things may not be working...
    sorry vent over
So I have 2 more weeks of the dexamethasone then I am booked in for biopsy on Fri 7th Dec to see if it's done anything, hopefully it's surpressed this over active army of mine inside & I can go ahead with my cycle as planned in Jan - seems so far away....
    helenmac - how's Everything going?
April hope the IVIG transfusion went well!
Lillac hope your transfer went well & your TWW goes fast & successful!
Scruffy - good luck for your EPU coming up They get lots of healthy ones !
Earthpower & FG - when are you two going to cycle?
bella, Nat & littleragbag good luck with your pregnancies!
Hi if if missed anyone else!
will sit stalking until after my biopsy on the 7th & will let you all know once I have the results from it & Dr Ms treatment plan
    kiwi xoxo

Hi ladies I'm supposed to be stalking but I thought I'd just quickly say hello ! .. I also got dr beers book in the mail the other day . I too got really emotional reading the intro especially. The pain we go through is just insurmountable at times 😖
Today I went to visit my cousin who just had her first baby . She rang me to announce her pregnancy during my fresh cycle back in April. Here she is, now a mummy and me currently on my 4th transfer since this.
kiwi, thank you hun, i had the 2xFET on Saturday.

Hi everyone and welcome to all the new faces

It looks like I have a busy week.... After much hassling Dr M has given me my protocol, pretty similar to most. 30mg prednisolone, 40mg clexame and intralipids this weekend (not sure why that instead of IviG??)

So EPU likely to be Friday, fly to Sydney that night for infusion Sat and then FET next Thurs Just happy to be feeling proactive.

Scruffy - Good luck for Friday and the trip to Sydney. It is great that you only need intralipids rather than IVIG. Your NK cells are in for a big shock!
Sending you lots and lots of luck. You have everything in place now. FG

everyone, sorry have been MIA and welcome to all the new faces, I hope your journey with Dr. M is nice and short and this thread will give you as much information as you need along the way.

Scruffy, wow, its all happening for you! Very excited for you! Best of luck for today's EPU, I hope you have a good harvast, let us know how you get on. Enjoy the peaceful time at intralipid afterwards, for some reason (although I've never done it) but its the impression Bella and FG gave me, so I hope its a breezer for you!

Lilliac, are you having FET on Sat? best of luck!

Kiwi, I hope the next two weeks are flying by and 7th Dec will be here in no time and you get the answer you want!

April, how did the infusion go in Sydney? let us know

Helen, are you still there? have been thinking of you!

FG, hope you are enjoying some downtime leading up to Xmas, tuck into that ham and champagne I say. I have started my dose of Xmas ham already! :-)

Bella, I hope the appt with Dr. M went well and what's the next step apart from keep growing?

    I hope I didn't miss anyone!

AFM, Im enjoying this enforced break (such as ham for one!) but let's just say I have been looking at the calendar twice the day to see how much longer I have to wait! Meanwhile, Dr. Sacks decided to put me on a medicated FET in the coming month to avoid this happen again which I whole heartedly agree. I have just got my perscription for drugs, the dose is only puregon 50iu so comparing to a full stim cycle I have nothing to complain, the injection starts on Day 4. Has anyone done a medicated cycle before? any tips? So hopefully this will give more control towards my body and it also gives me an opportunity to time the infusion better than last time. So just waiting for AF now hopefully mid next week so I can get on with things.

Im still going to gym a few times a week, so the nasty weight gain hasn't got a chance to rear its ugly head, HOWEVER, that hasn't stopped my moon face coming back, as I have noticed my face is definitely fuller than before... I think I will blame on Xmas if anyone asks!

    Best luck to all!

Hi earthpower good luck with this next cycle .. How many embies do you have left? I haven't done a medicated FET so I can't give you any tips except positive vibes!
I had my FET last Saturday so currently in 2ww crazies. I had a sinking feeling today that I may need to start over again. 😔I always had hope that one of my 5 embies would become a baby but not so sure anymore

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

    Hi ladies ,
April and earthpower I wish you all the best with your cycles . Moon face or not doesn't matter if it works, right!?
I'm at the tail end of this FET cycle . Two more days to BT. I had my final two blasts put back in. I got some news- I got my first ever bfp a few days ago. Yay! I started spotting and thought it was all over so I caved.

EP, i think the double transfer becomes less scary as the cycles mount. i was always sceptical about transferring two due to risks but its hard trying over and over without success.

Lillac Amazing news!! Let's hope your BT comes back with nice strong numbers

April - Wishing you all the best for Friday Let hope are travels to Sydney have been worth it

AFM - Lots to report... EPU Friday 14 eggs and 10 fertilised overnight. As of yesterday all 10 still going but one lagging behind a little bit. I usually lose a few between day 3 and 5 though.

24 hours in Sydney for intralipids on Saturday, lovely to meet Dr M and all the nurse were fabulous. April they all kept saying 'we had another Perth girl here last weekend'

I think I also have had a bit of mild OHSS, way more bloated post EPU than usual so took yesterday off and feeling a but better today.

Finally transfer tomorrow All this rushing around means I haven't thought about it much which is probably a good thing, also move house next week so needless to say life is very busy!!!
