    Default High Natural Killer Cells

My first one was a Friday( bc of long weekend). Worth asking. I think it also depends on how many beds are available at the hospital too. Good luck!

Bella and I did our infusions on a Friday of a long weekend as well because Dr M was going on holidays. So as with Nat there is precedent. I am sure that G will try to do everything to help you out. You don't need any more stress. Good luck.

Thanks Bella and FG. Im still waiting for Gwen to get back to me, meanwhile, I have googled how long prior you need to do Intralipid, seems like the general practice is 7 days prior to transfer, some even do two infusions but because its from other countries (either US or UK) they only have 1-2 hours for Intralipid which is vastly different from here. So really not sure...

FG, what was the precedent Nat had? Did they schedule her in mid week or on short notice or sth?

My mind is going million miles now, given these are our last 2 embryos, I'd rather wait for another month to get it right instead of wasting them and didn't maximize the effect of Intralipid...the only down side is I have to keep up the prednisone for another month...what do you guys think?

Anyway, doing another b/t tomorrow and hopefully will hear back from Gwen as well to decide.

Dr M told me that the optimal time for an infusion before transfer is 7-10 days. I had mine 11 days before my fresh transfer. If you can wait to time the infusion better it might be worth it for peace of mind? I know that's easier said than done. Let us know how you go.

Earthpower - I never had an intralipid transfusion. My immune problems were sorted with dexmethasone (later switched to Prednisolone) and Clexane (still on clexane, weaned off pred). Plus aspirin and megafol

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

    Hi gals
Earth power I'm not sure how you will decide what to do...I guess it depends whether you will regret it later if the intralipid doesn't have enough time...?and if you can cope waiting another month to have the transfer. GL and hopefully you spoke to Dr M by now .

I am having my FET on Saturday 17th..
Trust my luck but on Saturday I already have stuff booked in....an all day training course for work AND a ticket for a music festival which I was planning to go to afterwards... 😬
I had to ask the clinic whether I can have the earliest possible appt so then I can go straight to the course..

    Hi other ladies 💐

    Default Cycle Cancelled

Hi ladies, thanks for all your replies...well, as you saw the title, the cycle is cancelled, its probably for the best anyway. And the best part is that I didn't make this decision.

Based on this morning's b/t and u/s result, FS thought I have already O'ed and the lining is too thin (around 4.8) and the E2 is a bit low too (400ish), so he thought to monitor me for another b/t to see what's going on and best to postpone till next month when my body is more in tune.

So, I don't have to hassel Gwen about fitting me in the intralipid anyway. It felt like this month is just not meant to be! In a way, Im reliefed too....because I would really hate myself not to get most out of Dr. M's treatment and comprised in anyway. Appearantly, AIVF just had a policy too for FET, there is no cancellation fee, so that kind of made a news a bit better too.

I had a such a frizzled day and also in a middle of a business pitch, so waiting another month seems not a bad idea! Ah, more wait though!!!

Liliac, good luck with your appointment and FET and I hope your body is doing exactly what you need it...

    Hi to everyone else!

    Default High Natural Killer Cells

    Hi all.
I have a 4 year old son and before him had 2 miscarriages and after him 4.
We found out that I have balanced translocation so we thought this was the reason for the m/cs.
We did ivf + pgd and miscarried 2 weeks later in sept.
Dr set me for killer cells blood test and it came back in normal range.
I'm just wondering if I need to do uterine biopsy as well?
My next egg retrieval is booked for 10th dec
    Please help!!!

Default Re: High Natural Killer Cells

    Hi
I have been following this thread as I have high nk cells but not cycling atm. Just wanted to say to ELEASH- I had negative bloods but positive uterine biopsy so I say, yes have the biopsy. I was discouraged on having a biopsy by my old fs but my new one thought we may as well rule everything out before continuing.
Please excuse my interference. Good luck to all
