    Hi Ladies,

I called BOTH numbers to try and reach Gweneth again all morning. I finally got through on the Miranda one and spoke to another lady that answered the phone. She said Gweneth would be in at 1.00pm. I asked her to have her call me. No phone call back, surprise, surprise!

I'll try again in the morning.

    Hi All

*Helen, wow sorry you have to experience all of this extra stress! I have had to chase Gwenyth at times, hopefully you hear from her today & find some answers!
    *April - goodluck for today!
*Welcome Jaandaw, who is ur FS? I am with Dr Sacks at IVF australia & he specialises in NKcell testing etc, Dr Matthaias is an immunological Dr who whilst is not an IVF specialist has proven to be very knowledgable in this field & is who those of us who had multiple chem pregnancies, miscarriages or BFNs & have been diagnosed with NK cells via blood tests & uterine biopsy have turned to as he uses a more aggressive treatment plan then other specialists.
Earthpower, no side affects yet but use to get very dry mouth & blurry eyed in the Prednisolone so if this is stronger I'm waiting for it lol hopefully I don't put on any more weight as since I started the bondi protocol in Jan I have put on 4kgs (not happy)

    Hello ladies,
I have been reading this forum since August and if it was not for you guys I would never have found out about Dr M.
I have 2 children DD 9yrs and DS 6yrs. 2 and half years ago we decided to try for number three - we thought it would be simple - WRONG!.
In 2 and a half years of TTC I have had -
9 x early m/c and 1x ectopic pregnancy (had to have left fallopian tube removed).
My obstetrician recommended we try IVF and we have had 2x fully stimulated cycles with PDG. Each cycle we were only left with 1x day 5 blastocyst. Both times we had no sucess.
After my last m/c in August I felt so angry at the system, angry at my Ob, angry at my FS - there had to be a reason why this was happening. I felt so let down by these Drs.
I started to research the internet and found info about Dr Beers that in turn lead me to your forum and Dr M. I felt hope again!
I booked in to see Dr M! I had my initial consultation early September. He then booked me in for a uterine biopsy and laparoscopy - I had that at the end of September.
I saw Dr M last week to review the results - he found endometriosis and removed it, a cyst on my left ovary and removed it. A polyp in my uterus and removed it. And C56 killer cells in my uterus - he believes this to be the problem.
    I finally had an answer!
He recommends that I commence on prednisone 5mg twice a day when I start to ovulate this cycle and take clexane 25mg once every 2 days. I am to also continue taking DHEA 3x a day, calcatrate 1x a day and folate which I have done since my first consultation.
If I get a positive pregnancy test I am to increase the prednisone to 10mg 2x a day, clexane 25mg 1x a day and stop the DHEA and call to make an appointment.
(He also recommends if I don't fall pregnant this cycle I am to commence on clomid for my next cycle as I was too far on to start this cycle.)
He wants me to try for 3 months and if I haver no sucess I am to see him again.
I really want to thank you all for taking the time to share your stories and know if it was not for you guys I would not have had the answers or the opportunity to be trying again.

Welcome Nell - wow what a journey you have been on. I am also so grateful to the girls on BH for helping me find Dr M. Although in comparison to many my journey hasn't been that long (although it feel like forever!) I wasn't satisfied with my FS just playing a numbers game so I kept seeking answers. I feel like I could have been TTC for many more years if I hadn't been proactive.

A quick question for Bella and Nat (my pregnancy inspirations ) Did you do anything diet wise to get your BFP's? Last transfer I cut out all caffeine and alcohol and tried to decrease carbs. Just wanting to know if you went gluten free?

    Thanks

Scruffy - Nope, I didn't change my diet in the slightest. Although, in saying that I had lost 10kgs in the lead up to my BFP thanks to the Michelle Bridges 12wbt. But I've since put that all back on, plus alot extra. Apparently the prednisolone puts the weight on you too. So I was just sticking to eating 1200cal a day and exercising every day.
