Default Migraine- what can I take while pregnant?

Hi, I'm 10weeks pregnant and have the symptoms of a massive migraine coming on. What's the strongest pain killer I can take for this? Usually I take 2 panadene forte but I don't think this is recommended in pregnancy.

I was also prescribed panadeine forte for migraines when pregnant, by separate OB and GP (different pregnancies)

Just woken up and still have it. I rang to check with my gp and she said I can't take it because I'm on aspirin. She said the only options for me were panadol, sleep and if that doesn't work go up to the hospital where hopefully they can give me something else. It's probably and 8/10 at the moment. Ive already been to the hospital twice in the past 4 weeks- they will probably see me coming and think oh no not her again.

Aspirin is contra-indicated with panadeine forte but not with panadeine extra or mersyndol, so check for them, I have been told I am able to take either whilst pregnant.

What dosage of aspirin are you on?

The chemist said no to panadiene because it has codeine in it and that has something to do with my blood pressure meds that I'm on.

That sucks. I was on low dose aspirin and blood pressure meds and no-one mentioned this to me. Have you tried a massage? Also sometimes a double dose panadol (they call it a loading dose) and a strong coffee have helped me.
