    Never! Towards the end I mainly lived in tights and long tops or dresses but (and don't shoot me) I was still wearing my size 8 jeans until 39weeks. They sat just below my belly and didn't dig in until the very end.

    I've never worn maternity clothes, i usually fit into my regular pants for at least the first 4-5 months, then i just move on to pants in my regular size but with an elastic waist or flowly dresses. I wear normal tops that are longer to cover the bump.
    Imo maternity clothes are overpriced and i don't know about others but they never fit me nicely and it was near impossible to find maternity clothes small enough to fit me as i had big bump but the rest of me was still quite small.
    My tip is buy regular clothes that will accommodate a bump, there are plenty out there and they are much cheaper.

    I'm 6 weeks today {yay!} and already wearing a maternity shirt. I am very obviously showing. Even the lady at the Reject Shop let me know that she could see it.

    We're keeping it wrapped up until we see the heartbeat, so I'm visiting my parents and in-laws in an oversized jumper and baggy jeans {"I have a really bad cold, so I just want to feel warm and comfortable"}

    I have a few Target maternity tops and a pair of maternity trakkies from my first pregnancy. Worn in, so very comfy.

    This. Also I found that not only were they expensive but really old fashioned.

    I find the maternity section of Asos.com has very nice maternity clothes at a reasonable price! I don't think they're old fashioned at all (might just be me!)

    I am 19 weeks and only recently bought a black and a white maternity singlet from kmart. They were $10 each. Most days I am wearing one of those with some sloppy "genie" type of pants and a cardi.

    Im hoping not to spend too much on maternity clothes, especially as it will be hot when I'm really big and I think I will get away with wearing maxi dresses and long singlets.

    Default Re: When did you have to start wearing maternity clothes?

    First bub I didnt buy mat clothes until 8m. Second about 5 months. This one I think will b much earlier. I just flew down south for work and wore my mat cargo pants on the plane. Just sooooo bloated.

    I think Asos maternity clothes are beautiful! In fact, I am sure I purchased something from maternity last year because it looked so cute. I wasn't even duffed... Lol

    I didnt buy any with my firstborn as i couldnt afford any, this time around i was 8 weeks when i bought my first maternity top and pants.. Love them still wear them and ive added to my collection.. Nothing worse than being uncomfortable in regular clothes or even stretching them out so after bubs you cant wear them
