My DD2 has always been quite short and they keep a close eye on it (she's only 21months) but they say that their growing isn't like putting on weight its different they can just shoot up overnight so its not uncommon for them to go a few months without actually growing at all.

We were worried about ds2 so we asked for a referral to pead at the hospital. The pead did a few tests and then kept a eye on his growth for two years. It turned out that is just his build. I found it better to know than constantly worry about it.
Is blessed to have 6 wonderful kids.

My daughter is not on those percentil charts, but never has been.

A dr told me that its more important that the child is following their OWN growth line.
EG if your daughter has always been small, but is growing at a comparible rate, then its nothing to worry about. If she has big dips in her growth rate, thats something to look at.

    My DD is 6, 18kg and 100cm.
If there is no wind, row.

You're quite little yourself o's mum. Our ds2 is tiny but it's just his build. He's very healthy and Incredibly good at sport, just small. I'm sure she is fine xoxo

No increase over a few appointments (so min 6 months)

That's always good to hear as my DD turns 6 soon and is approx 14-15kg and 101cm.

Just confuses you when you get lot's of parents comment on it and you start to second guess your own judgement.

2 of my sisters were tiny and easily shortest in their class. They hit 12/13 and shot up! One is now 5ft6 and the other is now one of the taller in her class (only 13)

It is frustrating, conflicting advice and comments.

If your DD is healthy, i wouldnt be too concerned, just keep a track on her progress
If there is no wind, row.

This. My DD was not on the charts when she was born (too small), and now, at 2yo, is only in the bottom 10th percentile. Her Paed has said as long as she is healthy and happy and growing in proportion to her OWN height/weight ratio then there is nothing to worry about. The worry is if she starts to go backwards. I'm sure your LO is fine
