Perhaps that's because none of us regret having our children!! Our children are everything to us! I don't see people complaining for themselves - it mostly comes from a place of heartbreak for their child(ren)!

    You sound like a mysoginist

Oh come on women here talk about some very personal issues.

I've created a separate thread that hopefully explains things better... if anyone actually wants to self reflect instead of running around with their knickers in a knot making incorrect assumptions.

Yup, stopped the feminism discussions some time ago. Now onto how single mothers should self reflect and regret their 'mistakes'. Still agree with AnaGram. Full of horse poo poo.

It was never about single mums. See the new thread, you don't even have to have a kid to provide input.

Oh please, I didn't come down in the last shower. Your nonsense about self reflection and taking responsibility stemmed from some women feeling that their exes only contribution to their child's life was sperm donation. That is exactly how I feel. I am a strong woman who does not need my ex but I am under no illusion that he is a 'dad'.

VicPark, I don't know if your beliefs and values are really that different or that you arent clearly expressing yourself, but you offend in a lot of controversial threads.
At first I loved this thread - no one was getting offended and everyone was having a mature, thought provoking discussion.
But as per usual, it got derailed by offensive suggestions and criticisms.

So dismissive. VicPark, just because someone disagrees with your point of view, does not mean they are interpreting you incorrectly. You are lacking empathy with your posts, and it will offend people. Throw away comments about "having your knickers in a knot" and "making incorrect assumptions" are quite disrespectful to other posters - and really, quite ironic considering your argument is about personal responsibility - why aren't you taking any for the offensive things you type?
