    There's a Bogan River in CW NSW

    I have a photo of the sign. I think the Bogan's originated there.

    The best part about there being a Bogan St in Summer Hill, of all suburbs, is that people in Summer Hill love themselves just a little bit sick for living there, and are constantly congratulating themselves & telling everyone how it is the best suburb (sorry, "village") in the whole world.

    I'll bet they pronounce it "Bo-Gaaahhhn St".

    Found this on the Internet and thought it was classic.

    The description of a bogan;
    Typically resides in low cost areas/housing
    Has a pronounced lack of dress sense, flanny shirt, thongs, stubble shorts, torn jeans from the 1980's, cheap clothing?
    Has a lack of hygiene, showers infrequently, allows their hair to grow into an attractive mullet or shaving head with a razor blade. Haircuts are a rare event.
    A hogans language is somewhat foreign and slangy. Alphabet is not pronounced properly.
    Common choice of car is an old Holden or ford.
    Common choice of music is rock eg ac/dc.

    This is a description of a hogans poorly maintained house or unit;
    The bedroom- (for rootun)
    The balcony- (for smokin/shootun)
    The living room- (for watchin Telly, smokin, gettun p*****)
    The combined bathroom/laundry- (for Washun s***)
    The shed- (for gettun p*****/storun beer/rootun/ working on the commo.

    Yes. When the river dried up, they moved further inland until they eventually penetrated suburban areas and subsequently took over, taking up all the available space with their McMansions and ruining the roads with their wheelies in their commos!

    But do their commos have Chevrolet badges?
    These are the questions that need answering!
