Default Dose anyone else have this issue??

I can't cook while I am pregnant!! For 3 months almost we have been eating either dodgy meals or take away!! Tonight I am having my last go at cooking...... For a week anyway, I have stocked my freezer with micro meals from Coles like McCain and that kind of thing...
Please tell me I'm not the only one who can't cook?!?

I struggled a bit with dd but I had ms for basically the whole pregnancy! I still did it though, had to feed my other children honestly I'd go raw before I ate those convenience meals

I just couldn't be in the kitchen without throwing up let alone making meals and then I'd burn it or under cook it or kill it come other way (burn it and still hve it half raw

I used taste testers for dinner as my food desires were odd so nobody else liked them either that or it was wheatbix or sandwiches or something else I couldn't kill.

I went to using my slow cooker as I couldn't kill food as easily.

I have my fingers crossed for you.

This is why I am thankful for my strong stomach.

I have not thrown up aside from Gastro, allergy or tonsillitis since I was a bubs.

While I feel Queasy whilst cooking, I coping very well by taking a bite of an apple every 2 minutes.

I have been like this since may ... But it's not just cooking I struggle doing the food shopping; I can't go near the meat section or the deli so our food shopping is cheaper because I am not buying so much.

I really don't have a lot of choice with the food prep side .. I have children they must be fed. I have got a few of the froZen "box " dinners for dh for the nights I just can't do it (he says they taste terrible but fortunately he is a sweetheart) I was determined last week to cook a real meal ... I spent the whole time cooking it throwing up ... I felt too sick after to eat, the kids didn't eat it so it was only dh who ate it.

I constatly burnt or undercooked things and i burnt countless pots of water too . I eneded up needing a new set of pots

I wasn't like this at all til recently and now it's just because i can't be bothered! lol crap excuse I know but some nights the thought of getting out the pots and pans just tires me out lol! For the nights I can't be bothered, DH cooks or we make sandwiches or something, sometimes takeaway but it was getting too much so just tend to snack all night instead.

Yes! I even started a thread about it, the smell of cooking food was just making me so sick. I am getting better (at 13 weeks) but it still a struggle.
I get by with oven meals - if i can just chuck stuff in the oven it is much easier than having to stand over a stove and smell the food.
