    Nope.

    I feel awesome!

I am so so so so so so happy that all of that stage of my life is over.

I loved it while I was doing it.
And I'm glad I had so many.
But I'm seeing the benefits of being on the other side, and I love it.

Don't miss it at all (though still go... nawwwww.. when I see other babies doing it)

And yes, it does take time to find out what you want to focus on as YOU instead of as MUM.... I've started being crafty again.... and trying to spend the time that I would have been breastfeeding, to actually playing with all of them.

But see. I am so so so happy too that I am not in that stage anymore as well, loved it completely but it's time for the next stage. And I go to gym, run a swimming pool, homeschool one of the kids, have loads of friends, we do fun runs, climb mountains.., I'm just in a weird place. The person I was immediately before falling pregnant is so far from me now. Its hard to explain.

    I know what you mean.

You've got 'yourself' back..... but it's not the 'self' you remember. I feel the same, I keep trying to find that 'self' I've lost.... But I just don't know if I can, she was 20.... so I'm having to try and invent a new one.

    It is a weird feeling.

I don't want that 20 year old back though, quite the opposite. But yeah, kind of like that . Yes to inventing a new one.

    Great thread...
"Me" is slipping further and further away. I can't wait to be in this stage. I nearly was....but the universe had other plans!

I'm scared about it... I always wanted a large family, but single motherhood and then repartnering changed that. I'll be lucky if I have one more. It's just not what I wanted from life and I feel ripped off.

Fobs, yes you've got awhile to go!

Benji, does your other half not want anymore? I was lucky to meet someone straight away who wanted more straight away as well. But I can imagine it would be hard, hugs xox

He wants one. And I'm lucky to be getting that lol. He is happy with just my DS (he considers him as his own). He just doesn't understand that this isn't just some fantasy I had in my head, it's a yearning and who I am.

I think it must be a woman/mother thing. He's so damn logical about it. Talks facts and figures re money, housing, space, jobs etc. Wheras I just don't feel complete if that makes sense.

I'm beginning to get resentful... not necessarily of him, but just the situation that was handed to me when in my 20s and the fact I missed out on the life I wanted.

I can't imagine how I will feel if/when I have my final baby.
