It's not weird. Besides, everyone loves a party!

DH and I would like to have one at 5 years but I think it'll be more likely that we'll do it at 10 years. I think it's a great idea

Any wedding is a big draw card!

My friends are planning to renew vows at 5 years (they are like 2 years in lol), so they can have their child in the wedding party.

A second wedding is usually a more relaxed affair, as you know what it is truly about, connecting with your partner and your support structure around you.

Planning weddings are lots of fun! Get in there (and have lots of High teas with the girls lol).

    I think it's a fantastic idea!

I'd think it was a bit odd if it was 5 years after a 20k wedding with all the bells and whistles if you wanted to reenact it. But I'd still go and be happy for you.

But I think that is a beautiful idea and I can't imagine why anyone would have a serious complaint.

Thank you so much everyone! We are thinking of having a smallish function (maybe around 40 people max) at a winery in my hometown.

We were thinking something laid back, with a casual 'ceremony' led by our two best friends, lots of pretty 'outback, country-style' photos, followed by canapés, wine and dancing.

Being the giant nerds we are, we would love to have mandatory board games at the tables as well

    Thoughts?

OMG DO IT. If you were my friend I would be saying "about time we get to celebrate this marriage right. Pass the champers?". I love a good wedding
