    Default Marc or Mark?

We ae quite liking the name Marcus at the moment, but debating whether we would shorten it to Marc or Mark.

I am after some opinions please - what would you do?

    Thanks!

I named my son (born in August 2011) Marcus.

I loved the "c", it has Roman origins and makes it a little different to "Mark".

We never shorten his name to mark though, sometimes i jokingly call him marky mark but that is it - 90% of the time he is called "Marcus"….I love the name it is very classic and strong. I think it works with a "c" or a "k" but I personally preferred the "c".

    Best of luck.
