Would you ever consider seeing a psychologist about it? They can help you get to the bottom of it and give you some coping strategies.

I have been to several psychologists but none have helped unfortunately. I have a few different things I'm working through and the anxiety often gets pushed to the back. I did one of those tests for one psychologist that showed high levels of anxiety. But when I went back in a year (I saw someone else in the meantime) the anxiety wasn't as bad but the depression scored quite high so they've been focused on that a bit more. Really must find a good one!
Would you ever be open to pushing yourself to go out? To really prepare yourself mentally and just do it?
I once had a week of saying yes to all invitations & found that it got easier to go out & have a good time. The first few days were really hard and my anxiety levels were through the roof but when I started to go out & see that going out lead to having a good time, it got easier.
Maybe you could try it when you're ready : )
You poor thing
Anxiety and panic attacks are terrible terrible sensations. I suffered severe anxiety and panic attacks from the age of 8-17 without it being diagnosed. I could meet people during the day but as soon as it was at night it would hit like a ton of bricks. I used to feel soooo guilty about the smallest most inocuous things, like talking to a boy.
Go and see your GP, I went on medication for mine and haven't looked back.
You are not a failure at all and you can get past this.![]()
