FTB refund??? Confusion

What is the FTB refund and who gets it? I don't know if I am entitled to anything and have no clue how to find out.
DP just did his tax return today and is getting back about $2060 (then take out what child support need). And I get FTB a and b, plus parenting payment and rent assistance from Centrelink.

I've already told Centrelink via the phone that I don't need to lodge a tax return.

So am I suppose to be getting anything back or what?? This is the first year that I have been on Centrelink an nothing else and I have no idea what I am suppose to be doing.

Just wait. They'll work out if you're entitled to a make-up payment. If your figures were accurate (in terms of rent amount, child support etc) then you won't get anything. But if you overestimated what you would receive in child support or overestimated any income then you might get a small bonus to make up what you are owed. Let them figure it out. It should come with your next fortnightly payment if anything is owed to you.
