pregnancy and chickenpox immunisation...

My 18mth old was just immunised against the chickenpox virus. However, i forgot to ask if there would be any risk to me/ my unborn baby seeing as i'm 20 weeks pregnant?
Does anyone know?

Yes. ive aso had the virus when i was a child - 5 or 6 yrs old.
Are you ment to get a booster as an adult? as i dont think i ever have. Thae last one i got was the catch up dose as a 7yr old.

If you do, it should be fine just be thorough with hand washing etc. If you don't you should speak to your health care provider to see what the best thing is that you should do.

You should be fine, as I said just be very thorough with hand wash etc. I will be in a very similar situation in a couple of months but will be around 8 months pregnant. Gp said it's fine.
