Hey, thanks for asking, the u/s tech didnt say anything more about the sac abnormality in the report just that "There is an intraeuterine gestational sac with yolk sac identified. The foetal pole measures under 2mm. No definite foetal beat noted at this stage. The os is closed. No adnexal abnormalities or free fluid. No hydrenephrosis." Nothing exciting. My uterus is retroverted too if this makes a difference? I had hcg done this morning and will do repeat hcg on monday. Still going to be days for answers if its still rising and its a missed miscariage....

I had something very similar happen to me in my very first pregnancy and I'm sorry it wasn't a happy ending for us.

The dr said the abnormal shaped sac
Is a sign the baby has indeed passed and a miscarriage will soon follow.

I was 7+5 bub measured 6+3 no hb abnormal non round sac. We waited a week and hoped like crazy bub was ok. Unfortunately bub measured 6+2 and still no hb I had a d&c that week. Missed miscarriage.

They did genetic testing and my little girl had trisomy 16.

I really do hope everything turns out ok for u and ur little bub.
