We had quite a few decorative orchy bottles that were laying around next to some garden hose that had been attacked during the night due to the thoughts it was a garden snake..this was in a couple of sharehouses...

seriously, you can make a bong out of an apple..are they going to stop selling those as well?

Indeed, or to possess. Also very strict now on growing or possessing.

Personally I believe its had the opposite effect of what they were trying to do (get tough on bikies mainly). Reason is that instead of people growing a couple of chemical free plants in their back yard it became big organised crime syndicates growing hydro with loads of chemicals in it. The hydro is much worse in terms of setting off psychosis and other bad side effects, and the gang issues are worse as theres a few larger crops to steal rather than small backyard growers, so more money to be made. But it 'looks' like the government is getting tough on crime so thats all they care about

They sell them by saying they are used as ornaments as well, but in all honesty if they sell them or dont sell them people are still going to smoke it, be it out of a bucket or a can bong or in rollies, same with crack pipes if people are going to smoke it there going to smoke it would rather people use pipes then steal the light globe out of my front porch and use that lol

A lot of crime would be irradicated if they made drugs legal it would loose its apeall to many teenages as well. Making things ilegal doesnt stop them happening i just makes the whole thing run by thugs and bullies.

We have a gorgeous ornate "hookah" displayed in our front entry.

Though my first words upon seeing it at dfs house many years ago was "what do you have a giant bong for?"

But nope, it's used for smoking favoured tobacco.

Though my with all my cultural sensitivity nearly die laughing every time my df reminiscences about "sharing a hookah" with his friends... or how there's nothing better after a long night out than sharing a hookah in the morning.

But it really really is for display purposes (now) and really really was used for tobacco.

Why buy them when you can make your own easily enough with an empty bottle of coke?! Lol!
