Also, how much did people take? I was 3 x per day from week 10-18.

I would have taken it from very early on. I can't remember exact dates but definitely from week 6 and on. However I stopped at the end of second trimester because it had not helped at all really and I decided it was pointless.

Thanks BumMum. Were you also on the high dose of 3 x per day? I really appreciate the reassurance.

    Interesting.

I've been on 1-3 tablets of Maxalon since 14 weeks and I'm now 37+2.

If I wasn't on it, I'd probably have been admitted to hospital more times than I can count.

However, now, for some reason I just can't even keep tablets down, so its IM Maxalon (injectable) as of today

I'd be interested in finding an answer to your question, considering its technically safe in pregnancy...

Yes high dose. I also had a few injections and admissions to hospital. I suppose I should mention he was born prematurely. Only at 36 weeks though so not too bad.

I was on 3 per day from 6 weeks till 37 ( when he was born) and also had Maxalon shots at the end when I was put into hospital for vomiting! And I have a healthy boy and all is fine with him

    Hope that helps

Yes - DS2 (DS1 didn't give me quite as much grief in those 9 months!)
