Well I spoke to my old midwife friends at northpark today as I had an appointment with my doctor and they said, 'no more bottles at night', to prepare ourselves for a few sleepless nights and to be strong. TBH I know I can do it, but DH is a sucker where little H is concerned. He cant stand hearing him upset. But Im the one who has to get up every night so he can suck it up I reckon!

Thanks Kel having you at the end of the phone has been a godsend xx

Ditch the bottles. You won't regret it. I'm so lucky the kids always settle so well for DH at night (better than me) and he was the one who made the decision. You'll look back in a week and it will be so much better.

Sonja - holy $hit! I am gob smacked but sooooo happy for you as I know you were torn about ending your ivf journey and now look, a new little miracle is on it's way . What is meant to be is meant to be, it's 'kismet' . What a way to start off the year. Congratulations

Fiona - how life changes once you have a baby & it's never as you expect it to be, the ups and downs are totally worth it.

BK - wish I could offer some advice, Evie has done this before but it was due to teething and once they broke through she was back to normal.

Evie still has a bedtime bottle, hasn't had any through the day for ages, however I'm not sure how we will go when I decide to get rid of it. We've recently got rid of the dummy which hasn't been too bad, she still asks for it when she's upset.

    Sonja - O M G!!

Congratulations... here's some to help your little bubba along!! What a wonderful surprise. I can't imagine how you felt when you realised!! This is just wonderful wonderful news!!!!

AFU - As of yesterday my boobies have gone into retirement. Not sure I was ready for it, but Archie seems to be not too interested nowadays. So sad, but now I have them back and I don't have to watch what I drink and have a bit more freedom now.

Thanks mg yes I should probably get it back at some stage. I'd forgotten all about it. God one more thing to look forward to but at least this time I'll be wearing it in winter and not 40 degree days like with Marc.

Although I weaned Marc he had basically lost interest as well. Funny hey in a decade or so they'll be obsessed with boobs all over again.
