    Hi

few questions maybe someone can help or reassure....E is basically a $hit eater! Currently at 10 months she will eat some yoghurt with a little bit if pureed fruit in it...she will eat squeezie yoghurts...she refuses almost all mashed veg , fruits meats , casseroles etc...just simply clamps her mouth shut and mostly she will not even give things a try. She will feed herself some tiny bits of things like cucumber, tomato, she will stick a few peas in occasionally, will suck on it corn cob, watermelon. Overall its dismal imo. Hardly stuff that is filling or protein based. Wont eat bread or toast. Basically im out of ideas with her. Im just waiting for to 'snap' out of it but i feel she is just an uninterested fussy eater...different to H. Anyone hd similiar or got any magic suggestions? I decided not to let his worry me but its frustrating as i really feel I cant night wean her as she is such a terrible solids eater.

Hi JFB. I don't have any great ideas only that I know the nurses at mother baby unit recommended to reduce milk so the baby is hungry. So maybe she doesn't really need the food because she's getting so much milk at night?

    I would agree with kel.

Have you tried giving her a spoon at the same time you spoon feed her, and allow her to play with the food/spoon while you try to feed?

Have you tried scrambled eggs and pastas yet??

Good luck. Having a bad eater is mega frustrating. Maybe she just hasn't hit her strides yet?

Yes im trying this week to get dh to. settle her on her first night wake with no milk in any form...she isnt scrawny at all so she gets enuf bf milk i guess. I tried the spoon and this occasionally works but even if it does she still only eats pitiful amounts until she decides she won't have any more...if she eats one sixth of a banana thats like the most solids she has eaten in one sitting..like thats good or her . Yes frustrating. I guess its time to really start cutting boob back!
