BK - Evie doesn't get temps often when she's got an ear infection brewing, pulling her ears is a dead giveaway for her and whingeing/upset for no apparent reason, it generally starts before she gets a cold. Evie won't sit on the loo either, I'm thinking of getting one of those step things with the seat but I'm not in a hurry as she's starting to get interested in the potty which I already spent enough money on before really looking into TT, I thought she'd really like the novelty of sitting on a 'princess potty' however, she's still not doing anything yet, I'm sure she will in her own time. I spent loads of time with her yesterday and today enticing her to sit on the potty with star stickers and that got her attention then she insisted on putting them all over my face at least it got her to sit there for awhile, I think she can hold her wee now and waits until she's got her nappy back on

Amum - I'm so envious you are going to see Keith Urban, I loooovvee him, lucky you having a hubby like yours

Millie - sounded like a good night. We are good thanks, alot going on at the moment keeping me busy though.

I'm enjoying the rain we're having too but don't want too much more of it, Evie is trashing my house, we had tent city in the lounge room today and she gets pretty demanding wanting my attention ALL the time, she goes a bit stir crazy stuck inside & I can't do anything unless she's asleep which she did 3 hrs today so that gave me some time to get busy and I also finally got to watch a movie which haven't done for I don't know how long.

Kel Marc had no symptoms at all except for screaming when we'd lie him down. Glue ear is a term to describe ear infections that are in the inner ear. There are often no signs so it can be hard to detect unless you insist the gp checks their inner ear. Simply looking into the ear with a light doesn't work.

As for TT, we had all sorts of problems getting Lucy interested. I think it's hard for the oldest child. You also have to be able to stay home a lot. We basically cracked it over 4 day of staying home and close to the toilet. I kept her fluids up so she had to pee. She was over 3 though by the time we were able to do this. Scarlett on the other hand wasn't even 2 as she wanted to be like her sister. Marc already wants to sit on the toilet. Gets easier.

Well it seems this year is going to be up to $hit...my mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer, she has a tumor in each side, won't know anymore until she gets in to a specialist to see where to from here...I wonder how much more she can take??? Mum's always been a tough old chook but I think this diagnosis will break her, with all her health issues it will be a matter of which one takes her out first, whatever it will be none of them are going to be easy on her...it sucks, why can't life be easier for people and let it end naturally!!

Kismet, I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. My heart just sank for you. It's just so horrible watching our loved ones suffering in their old age. It seems so wrong. Huge warm hugs.
