Amum Keith sounds fantastic! You must be really looking forward to it

    Kismet have fun

Well I wish it was that easy to put Ruby on the loo, but she won't go near it. She thinks she is going to fall in. Got one of those adapter things but she still won't go near it. I'm going to let the whole thing go for a few months I think.

    Hi Girls
Kel - I would leave her for a while as well, she will be ready when she is ready....don't stress about it.....they all get it in their own time.

We are having some lovely rain here in Sydney today....a good day for movies inside i think..

Hope you are all having a great long weekend.

Henry was awake for 1.5 hrs last night, just didn't want to go back to sleep. Now this morning he had screamed for about 1:5 hrs trying to get him down. Up/down panadol/nurofen, rocking/not rocking. He's exhausted but won't sleep. No temp but putting his hands over his ears. Teeth do you guys think?

Kel - I agree, it seems to 'click' when they sit on the adult toilet (probably due to seeing you go on it so many times) But you are right, it will happen when she is ready.

Amum - What a lovely thoughtful DH you have. Enjoy the concert.

JFB - Hope you are out today somewhere lovely having a glass of wine and a yummy lunch (or a massage).

Kismet - How are you going?

I went out for my first evening 'event' since Stella was born 5 months ago. My sister, brother and I saw Cirque Du Soleil on Friday night. Sooooo good. I kept thinking 'Imagine taking Stella to this when she is 10. She will LOVE it'. It was great just to have a night out as 'me' with other adults Grandpa babysat, and he was sooo proud that she slept well. They adore each other

BK ... Sounds like teeth (although I have no first hand experience!)
but we are going through a similar thing here ... Basically tears and disaster unless he is chomping on something.

Kel I agree get his ears checked. We put up with months and months of screaming only to find out Marc had severe glue ear.

Millie sounds like a wonderful night.

Well our last night in singapore. It's been hard with the kids and I've had them on my own a lot. They are all exhausted as am I. Looking forward to going home. Been a very long and busy school holidays.
