    I can't afford to run the risk of one of the kids reacting to another person's washing powder. I wash everything in sensitive wash, so the kids don't get rashes.

    Well... I'm not worried about dyes or chemicals, and I've never encountered anything gross on new clothes.

    Never washed baby clothes first either...

    I don't think I know anyone who does this IRL - only seen it on here.

    Yep pretty much all of the time. The only time i don't is when i've accidentally forgot to wash it and really need it haha. never had any reactions but i know what they are treated with so don't really want that on my skin

    New clothes hava real 'chemical' smell to them that i hate too. I just dont trust it you have no idea where the clothes have been, who has tried them on etc....
