Default Baby eczema and lactose free formula....

Hi - just wondering if anyone has experience with their baby having eczema and whether a change in formula eg lactose free, made a difference...?

DS is nearly 7 months and has had eczema all over his torso for a couple of months at least, it is worse behind his legs and on his cheeks.

So far we are using sorbolene all over, sometimes dermalex, and stigmacort sparingly but when it is quite inflamed....

    TIA

My DS is lactose intolerant and had eczema as a bub. We used hydracortisone(SP?) sparingly. A soy or lactose free formula really helped us. I don't know the formulas now as it has ben years. But I would say give it a go. Can't hurt but if your not sure ask your doctor our health nurse.

Thanks! I'll speak with our dr about it and give it a go. I do use the cortisone occasionally as it seems to be the only thing that really works when it gets quite nasty.
