Default Has anyone heard or been told?

Has anyone heard or been told that babies heartbeat slows down as we get further along in last trimester?

    I haven't heard this.

I know it's very fast in the beginning, then slows as the brain takes over control of the heart, but all this happens before 12 weeks, I thought.

I'm still learning though, I hope someone else has a good answer

Ive not heard this, mine has always been around 150 - 140. I just checked my pregnancy record and all of my appointment notes from 16 weeks have had a heart rate between 150 - 140. Has been 140 most of the time but had gone up to 144 last week at just shy of 40wks.

My BP was initially very low and has slowly crept up, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Im sure your hospital midwives would be able to tell you.
