    Thanks - I will give it a go. I'm already on so many supplements at the moment I didn't want to add another unless it was going to help. The cramping is driving me nuts though, I need to do something!!

    From what medical research I've read it can work, but it's only a little more effective than a placebo, meaning that most cases of cramps probably have nothing to do with a lack of minerals. That said...placebos have an effect, so why not? :P

    Apparently the most effective treatment for most people is adequate hydration and stretching the calf muscles before bed (that is, if you're getting them at night). I tried this for a while but I'm not sure whether it did anything.... I seem to be getting better at avoiding movements which might trigger them, so it's hard to tell.

    I've tried it for RLS & can only report that it makes it worse unfortunately.

    It does work but I found it backed me up alot and I have to take something to help things move
