Both times my mum was disappointed yes to the degree she said to my dad that "I hope she doesn't expect me to look after the baby" and as soon as she was born she was all goo goo gaga! (although she hasn't looked after her yet although I am going to try my luck today to take my eldest to the movies)

What makes parents think they have the right to act like they have in some of the stories on here? Fair enough they have given birth, raised you blah blah blah... But to try and control what a young adult does and then throw a tanty when it doesnt work out... Grow the eff up, get your own lives and let go.
