Default Anyone had this, and a happy ending

I had faint positives in FRER and 1-2 weeks pregnant on digital hpt. I had what I would class as heavy bleeding over the weekend, so I think its all over. Did a test this morning. The line was darker than before. I know HCG stays in your body after, but the tests should get lighter, not darker. Going to try to make a doc appointment today. My ectopic last year started the same way so hoping its not another one.

I did, although it was a week or two later. Bright red blood, quite a bit. Went on to have a very east and good pregnancy .

    Yes, i have.
With DD2 i had a huge gush of blood in early pregnancy and all was fine.
Also with my current pregnancy i had a bleed at around 5 weeks, 10 weeks and 11 weeks - bright red blood and plenty of it, lasting days. Bub is fine and there doesn't appear to be any reason for the bleeding.

It is possible to have bleeds and still be pregnant. Good luck

Yes I did, in fact I started a thread about it too, back in feb or march.

I got a very faint line on DPO9 then got my 'period' an hour later, so I figured it was a chemical pregnancy. I was so bummed out I went and got trashed that night (it was my 4th and potentially last IVF cycle with my own eggs) It was a normal, heavy period for three days, so a little short. I decided to test to check that HCG was leaving my system a few days later but the test got darker and darker as the days progressed. I had a blood test on DPO15 or 16 and yeah..... somehow I was pregnant! I was very dubious until I saw the little heartbeat at 7 weeks.

I also bled lightly at week 5 and 6 but everything has been fine, I'm currently 26 weeks.

fingers crossed for you, I hope its not an ectopic, thats what I was worried mine was. keep us posted.

HCG Monday was 110. Scan Tuesday showed nothing. HCG Wednesday was 60. Now to just wait for HCG to leave my body and start again. I have a doc appointment next Wednesday. Hopefully they can sort things out so that the pregnancies start actually sticking.
